More Than a Thousand is a Portuguese band that blends together elements of metalcore, post-hardcore and alternative metal to create a distinctly modern style of hard rock. Founded in 2001, the band would release a few albums and tour regularly before opting to move to London in an attempt to reach a wider audience. Having since continued to release well-received albums and maintain an ardent touring regime, More Than a Thousand has managed to expand and grow its fan base significantly in the process.
