His career has been successful with the debut of his stand-up DVD, Live and Laughing, released in 2008, which sold over a million copies. As the youngest-ever host of the Royal Variety Performance in 2010, McIntyre performs his family-friendly comedy for the British Royal Family and on his national tour.
