Emmy the Great

Emma-Lee Moss, better known as Emmy the Great, is a UK-based indie folk singer/songwriter. Born in Hong Kong, Moss moved to England when she was 12, where she would eventually earn her musical stripes in the London folk circuit. Her versatile singing voice and quirky songwriting earned her a reputation as an artist to watch in no time, and in 2007 she released My Bad, her debut EP. Also in 2007, Moss acted as a lead vocalist in Lightspeed Champion, an indie folk group that has since gone on to find a strong following. Her main focus soon returned to her solo project, however, as she has continued to record and tour her emotional and inventive songs as Emmy the Great.
