The Cute Lepers are a six/sometimes seven-piece band from Seattle, WA equally influenced by first wave punk, mod-revival, power pop, and the spirit of Johnny Thunders. Led by chief songwriter Steve E. Kix and occasional songwriter Steve Kicks, both formerly of the Briefs. The band also mixes in hints of doo-wop, early 1960s rock 'n' roll and female back-up vocals. The band has released several singles, three albums and embarked on numerous lengthy tours of the United States and Europe.
