Hate Eternal is a death metal band from St. Petersburg, Florida that has become a staple of the Florida hard rock scene since its formation in 1997. Distinguishing itself from the myriad of other metal bands out there with an apologetically brash style, Hate Eternal gigged around its home state for a while, refining its sound, before entering the studio to record its 1999 debut LP, Conquering the Throne. Though the group has gone through a number of lineup changes since its inception, it has nevertheless remained true to its roots and it continues to crank out provocative studio albums in addition to maintaining a respectably consistent national touring schedule.
