Featuring guitarist and vocalist Alan Nimmo, King King is a four-piece blues rock band from Glasgow. Largely kept a secret during the first few years of its existence, the band slowly came to light with performances at blues festivals around Europe and finally earned mainstream acclaim for its 2011 album, Take My Hand. In the year following its breakthrough album, King King took home the British Blues Awards for Best Band and Best Album, solidifying its place among contemporary leaders of blues music.
