About
Danish bassist Ida Nielsen is popularly known for being a part of bands like 3rdeyegirl, New Power Generation and Zap Mama. Apart from a successful career with various groups, she has also has a flourishing solo career. Having begun playing bass at the age of sixteen, she further went on to earn her diploma majoring in electric bass from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. She debuted with her solo album Marmelade in 2008.
