Malurt debuted with the album Kold krig in 1980. Hailing from Copenhagen the band enjoyed quite a few years in the limelight owing to its music. It has shared stages with reputed artists like Bruce Springsteen and performed to huge crowds at various festivals. Formed in 1977, the band remained inactive from 1984 to 1990. Ever since its return, the band has delivered successful albums like Spøgelser and Ghetto.
