About
Drum Tao is a Japanese ensemble that combines the thumping beats of drums with the melodious sound of flutes and harps. Since its founding in 1993, the troupe has performed all over Japan as well as internationally with the likes of the Bolshoi Ballet. Drum Tao also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it outsold every other troupe. Its debut album Rising - Sounds of Drum Tao was released in 2017 and featured songs such as "Hayate," "Buzoku" and "Beat Beat," among others.
