Spare Parts is a Chicago-based rock band that plays a jam-heavy blend of blues, funk, reggae and jazz. The four-piece's eclectic style, which is comprised of guitars, drums, percussion, slap bass and keyboards, has earned it performances with well-respected artists such as Snoop Dogg, Liquid Soul, Victor Wooten and George Clinton. Despite each of its members' abilities to steal the show with an impressive solo or improvisational passage, Spare Parts has become one of Chicago's most popular party/jam bands because of its tendency to perform as a cohesive unit, rather than just a bunch of solo performances.
