Seattle-based band Mad Rad is a group of four MCs/DJs who have a penchant for synth arpeggios and quirky raps. Blending electro-hop with experimental 1980s-style pop, the band creates music that is both primitively carefree and darkly contemplative. Since forming in 2007, Mad Rad has developed a cult fan base on Seattle's underground hip-hop scene and continues to expand its audience with each release.
