The Dollop, a comedy podcast hosted by Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds, was started in 2014 as a solo project by the former. Its initial concept included a new guest comedian for every episode. However, so amazing was Gareth Reynolds' - the first guest - performance that he became a permanent fixture on the show. Each 30 to 90 minutes-long episode of the podcast revolves around bizarre but humorous historical events, narrated to Reynolds by Anthony. Over the years, the duo has taken the show to numerous American cities as well as to Canada and Australia, and has hosted the likes of Wil Anderson, Georgia Hardstark, Karen Kilgariff and Patton Oswalt, among others.
