Viva Ben-Hur

The Spanish band Viva Ben Hur, takes its name from the epic US film released in 1959. However, Viva Ben-Hur doesn't necessarily create the type of music its name implies, which is to say it's not particularly epic or religiously-themed. Instead, the group creates quirky indie pop, heavy on synthesizers and noise rock-inspired guitar work. While the group has remained somewhat underground since forming, it has slowly begun to play more festivals and venues, winning over audiences along the way.
