Violet Lades

Honing her writing skills at an early age, singer/songwriter and novelist Violet Lades published her first novel at the age of 14. Dividing her time between her literary and music career ever since, Lades developed a style of hard-edged Americana melded with acoustic folk. While this style of music might be a bit unusual for a Spanish-born musician based out of Barcelona, it seems to come naturally to Lades who could easily be mistaken for a product of the American South.
