Nacho Umbert is an indie folk/pop singer/songwriter from Barcelona, Spain who is perhaps best known among his fanbase as the lead singer and songwriter for the now defunct Spanish cult band, Paperhouse. After a nearly 15 year hiatus, Umbert has returned from seclusion to begin bringing his talents into the 21st Century in an attempt to champion the myriad sub-genres of indie pop that have cropped up during his absence. Accompanied by a talented back-up band appropriately named "la Compañía," or "the Company," critics and audiences agree that Nacho Umbert's newest incarnation far exceeds the quality and artistry of his past efforts, with many looking forward to what he and his backing band have in store for them next.
