Portland band Tu Fawning is helmed by longtime collaborators Joe Haege and Corrina Repp, both of whom have had various projects prior. Fawning's sound is defined in large part by its members' unique production talents, covering tracks in ambient pops and noise as well as processed horns and guitars. The band's vocals take a similar approach, lodging them in between eccentricities and uneven song structures. As a result of the band's unique approach, they have garnered an intimate following that has pushed them into a comfortable routine of touring regularly and releasing the occasional record.
