Primarily drawing influence from American and UK indie bands ranging from the Postal Service to David Byrne, the trio Colectivooruga (that occasionally goes by Colectivo oruga) absorbs these influences and pumps out a style with a more emo-pop/sythpop leaning. Sticking to its preference for music from the English-speaking world, the group based out of Northwest Spain utilizes English lyrics, rather than its native tongue. The band is often seen on the European festival bracket.
