About
Forming on the Catalan island of Mallorca off of the Spanish coast, Beach Beach both donned an appropriate name and creates appropriate music for its location. The trio creates surf-inspired garage rock full of nods to tropicalia and punk rock, with lyrics sung in both English and Spanish. The group formed in 2007 and garnered positive press from many Spanish and UK publications impressed by Beach Beach's authenticity, in contrast to the many beach-inspired bands that spend most of the year in landlocked rain.
