About
Autolux is a trio that formed on the Los Angeles alternative rock scene in 2001, after two of the members met writing a score for Dario Fo's play Accidental Death of an Anarchist. Since forming, the band has incorporated diverse elements into its sound, including that of trip hop, shoegaze and ambient electronica. With its evolution of sound, came many prominent fans, including Thom Yorke, T-Bone Burnett and Trent Reznor, giving Autolux the opportunity to open for a multitude of respected musicians and thus garner a fairly large fan base.
