Formed by a London native and a Dutch expat, Punks Jump Up is a duo equally influenced by Dutch pop and the London club scene. The result, as the band name suggests, is a catchy breed of dance punk, and has gone over well with audiences across the UK and Europe. A favorite of indie gods James Murphy and Erol Alkan, the duo has received quite a bit of play from other artists and prominent DJs, which have helped spread Punks Jump Up across international dance floors.
