Talking Pictures is a London-based trio of electronic musicians. Dubbing their style as "sleaze pop," the group's members create music steeped in cheesy 1980s production and synth-driven dance pop. The band's characteristic funky basslines and clean electric guitars thrown into the mix of keyboard washes and digital beats have earned the three-piece comparisons to popular Canadian duo Chromeo. Talking Pictures regularly performs throughout the greater London area, and with upcoming appearances at some UK music festivals, should likely be expanding its fan base sooner than later.
