Oh So Quiet

Born in Argentina, but growing up in the UK, Lucas and Malena Zavala cite a musical background equally influenced by Latin American folk and the Beatles. These early influences shine through in the siblings' music with their band Oh So Quiet--a five-piece that creates Spanish-tinged indie folk drenched with elements from baroque and Brit pop. The Zavala's formed the band in 2009 while attending The Academy of Contemporary Music, starting the band as a two-piece bedroom recording project then slowly adding other musicians with a similar stylistic bent. With only a handful of demos to its name, the band began touring around the UK and winning over audiences along the way.
