Comprised of a classically trained Hindi singer and an adept audio producer, the India-based duo Hari & Sukhmani is a group that's intent on blending sounds from the old and new worlds. With tunes that mainly center around traditional Punjab folk songs set alongside subtle electronica instrumental accompaniments, Hari & Sukhmani manages to re-enliven historically rich Indian songs with a modern touch. The duo has been touring internationally since 2008 and as the group continues to tour and release new studio material, its notoriety will undoubtedly continue to grow.
