Gum Takes Tooth is an English duo that makes an otherworldly style of music that pulls equally from the world of tribal drumming as it does electronic avant-garde noise. Though the group's music might be difficult for some to listen to--with songs filled of almost medical ambulance or fire truck siren sounds--the two members in Gum Takes Tooth, who play drums and electronic switchboard devices, are adept instrumentalists, and the static music they create has been recognized by several prominent critics in England for its breakout 2011 EP, TRI.
