To The Bones is an indie alternative/grunge rock act from Bolton, England that emerged from British alternative rock obscurity with the release of its eponymous debut album in 2008. Drawing from the guttural vocal work usually associated with grunge, combined with a heavy use of hooks typically associated with contemporary alt rock, To The Bones seems to have stumbled upon a perfect synthesis of the two (suddenly disparate) genres that maintains its edge without completely sacrificing its pop sensibilities. Described by Rocksound magazine as possessing "Marvelous urgency and intelligence" when it came to the band's recorded output and performances, To The Bones is looking to become one of the more outstanding alt rock acts on the UK's independent rock scene.
