Echo Lake is a dream pop five-piece based out of London. Combining slow, tension-building shoegaze guitars with an attention paid to ambient pop songcraft, the band has justifiably received comparisons to its highly successful American counterparts, Beach House. Vocally, Echo Lake's front woman sings in a subdued croon that finds her voice completely engulfed in layers of reverb, while her bandmates shift between mellow sonic exploration and slightly more uptempo, hook-filled material.
