Hollywood-based band Murderdolls is a horror punk band comprised of former members of the bands Wednesday 13 and Joey Jordison. As one could guess, horror films are a principal inspiration for the band, that even goes as far as to satirize the genre. The band often cross-dresses, showing its allegiance to glam rock traditions, a central aspect of its live performance, and a big reason the band has connected rock's past to rock's present.
