Taking its name from a street in Weston, Wisconsin, the band's hometown, Windsor Drive has been creating fittingly nostalgic music since 2008. The son of a pastor, lead singer Kipp Wilde played in the church band throughout much of high school and slowly recruited other musicians from his school to join him, leading to the formation of Windsor Drive. The quartet has since moved to Houston, Texas and has found a fair amount of success with its emotive, piano-driven light rock, eventually landing a spot on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour lineup.
