Pe'er Tasi is an Israeli singer and songwriter known for his contributions to the Mizrahi genre. Born on May 10, 1984, in Pardes Hanna-Karkur, he began his singing career at a young age, performing in his local Yemenite synagogue. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat soldier, Tasi pursued a career in music, gaining recognition with his 2009 single "True Love" and the 2011 hit "Another Chance." His breakthrough came with the immensely popular single "Derech Hashalom" in 2014. Over the years, he has written and composed for notable Israeli artists like Eyal Golan and Sarit Hadad. Tasi’s discography includes albums such as Peer Tasi (2013), Kocha Shel Ahava (2015), and Radio Shetach (2022). He continues to release music, with his 2023 single "La Tira" reflecting on current events. Married to Tal Shoshan since 2015, Tasi is a father of three children.
