Brooklyn's The Energy quickly entered the spotlight of pop and alternative rock music, touring and working with many of the genre's most successful acts. The band's album Streets-of-in-Between was produced by Fall Out Boy and We the King's producer Scott Riebling, two influences that helped increase the band's cross-over potential. The band's overarching theme for that record was the benefits of taking the road less traveled, a theme that has proven true for a band that has seen early success in a challenging commercial climate.
