Piccolissima Jug Band is an acoustic jazz fusion/Americana band from Granada, Spain that formed in 2009 by four professional musicians whose extraordinary careers as independent performers were able to showcase their new band's tremendous skill and creativity right. The band began performing throughout Spain almost immediately following its formation, inciting a huge amount of interest in its unique fusion of American and European jazz and folk music. Following a successful 2010 tour of Morocco, Piccolissima Jug Band released a debut album (and a film) that highlights the band member's special talents as musicians as well as deft arrangers of jazz and Americana music with a distinctly European flavor.
