The band has gone through multiple variations of members, however, it has managed to maintain its original sonic identity. In 2009, the band was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Contemporary Jazz category, a high honor for a band that has stayed resilient to change and time. The group continues to tour internationally, often playing multiple nights at a single venue.
