Andy Cooney

One of America's premiere performers of traditional Irish music, Andy Cooney was born and raised in an Irish American family in New York. At a young age, his grandfather began teaching Cooney Celtic ballads and folk songs, and by the age of 19, the singer was asked by Irish bandleader Paddy Noonan to begin touring with him. In 1994, Cooney began performing solo and has since sold out several shows at Carnegie Hall, as well as been lauded by numerous publications as a true representative of Irish culture and talent.
