About
Known for its theatricality, quirky costuming and instrumental prowess, Lapins Superstars is a large collective of French musicians who play a blend of New Orleans jazz, big band, afrobeat and Balkan folk. Generally playing the classics, but reworking the songs to fit its contagiously energetic ensemble of multiple horn players and drummers that barely fit on the stage of most venues, the band has developed a reputation for highly entertaining live shows. Since forming in 2006, the Parisian group has toured extensively throughout Europe, impressing audiences along the way.
