Jason Byrne is an Irish comedian who slowly developed a solid fan base throughout the UK thanks to his energetic sets and regular appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Physicality is a big part of Byrne's comedy as he's known to pace frantically around the stage with a sweaty, disheveled demeanor. His blend of conversational humor and audience participation has landed him gigs at some of Ireland's most notable comedy clubs, as well as appearances on Live at the Apollo and Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford. Byrne released Jason Byrne - Out of the Box, his debut live DVD, in 2006.
