Brand New is an alternative rock band from Long Island, New York that was formed in 2000. Blending a number of styles together including emo, pop punk and post-hardcore, the group has managed to build a fairly large fan base for itself. The group releaed its debut album, Your Favorite Weapon, in 2001 and as since continued to release LPs fairly regularly.
