Hellogoodbye is an indie power/synth pop band from Huntington Beach, California that rose to prominence with the internet release of its debut full-length album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! in 2006. The band's debut reached #1 on both the US Independent Albums chart and the US Internet Albums chart and would effectively cast the band as one of the more popular independent acts in not only the US but also the UK. However, it would be Hellogoodbye's follow up album, Would it Kill You? that would surpass the band's debut in terms of critical reaction--with many respected music publications celebrating the band's most recent release as a near masterpiece of pop.
