Horrid Red

Another project from the highly prolific multi-instrumentalist and producer Edmund Xavier, who has been involved with Teenage Panzerkorps and Hostage Sex amongst others, Horrid Red is yet another synthpunk group linked to his name. This group does shift a bit in direction and incorporates more melodic post punk moments that border on coldwave, along with raspy German vocals from Bunker Wolf, who was also involved with Teenage Panzerkorps. Based in both San Francisco and Aachen, Germany, the trio has quickly infiltrated synthpunk circles since forming in 2009, particularly since the release of its debut EP in 2011.
