Denis Fischer is a singer, entertainer and stage actor from Delmenhorst, Germany who was recognized at the young age of 18 as one of Germany's most promising acting talents after winning several distinctions for his work on stage in and around his home metropolitan area. Following a stint of successful collaborations on stage, Fischer moved to Berlin to pursue his musical ambitions. Since the release of his debut full-length album Death Songs, Fischer has established himself as a bona-fide musical performer in his own right. Preferring to perform songs that showcase his flair for the dark and dramatic, the young musician's most recent album effort has him performing some of the best works of Canadian folk singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen.
