Cihan Mürtezaoğlu, born on July 23, 1984, is a Turkish guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for his rich blend of alternative and indie music. He began his career playing in the bands Künt and Sen Yağmur Dök, which he co-founded with Ezgi Altıner. Mürtezaoğlu has also collaborated with notable Turkish artists like Yasemin Mori, Mabel Matiz, and Burcu Tatlıses. A graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Music, he released his debut album Bitsin Bu Delilik (2016), followed by Deli Zaman (2018). His music is characterized by introspective lyrics and eclectic soundscapes, with standout tracks such as "Sarı Söz" and "Yollar." Mürtezaoğlu's recent work includes the album Köprülerin Üzerinde (2024) and several EPs like Biz Bize Akustik (2018) and Belli Olmaz (2021). His emotive storytelling and unique musical style have made him a distinctive voice in Turkish music.
