Evelyne Gallet is a French singer/songwriter who combines the classicism of vintage torch singers with a quirky, modern approach. Often performing alone onstage with just herself and a guitar, Gallet's songs are carried by her powerful voice, which contains traces of some of her country's most legendary female singers--Edith Piaf in particular. However, Gallet isn't afraid to have some fun with her songwriting and often injects humor and dry wit into her sets. Already a hit around her home base of Lyon, Gallet has begun expanding her tour bracket to find more fans throughout France and beyond.
