Singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe creates music that is hauntingly sparse, in somewhat of a darkwave-meets-folk style, that's always drowned in references to the occult and apocalyptic. The Los Angeles-based Wolfe has found a fairly devout fan base in her native city and established herself as a member of the increasingly popular dark pop movement. Wolfe released her debut album, Mistake in Parting, in 2006 and since then she has continued to release LPs at a fairly regular rate.
