Combining the garage punk revivalist sound of the early 2000s, coming from groups such as the Hives, with the polished, bluesy radio rock of groups such as Jet, Elephant Keys is an indie rock band formed in Sheffield, England in 2009. Formerly known as The Dodgems, the trio underwent a name change when former member Nick O'Malley left the band to take over on bass for popular Brit-rock act, The Arctic Monkeys. The band's brawny blend of blues rock and streamlined pop hooks has resonated well with indie music fans in the UK.
