Siriusmo

About

German producer and visual artist Siriusmo has been a steady presence in Berlin's prominent electro scene for over a decade--remixing tracks, dropping singles and spinning at various underground clubs--but didn't release an album until 2011, which properly announced his arrival in modern electronic music. Blending quirky samples with bouncy techno beats, whimsical synth, creative splicing, 1970s funk and almost cartoonish takes on the dubstep genre, Siriusmo is not afraid of being deemed eclectic. And yet the producer's eclecticism isn't overbearing or jumbled; instead Siriusmo manages to create rather imaginative club tracks that draw on the best of electronic music's subgenres.
