El Paso Wind Symphony

The El Paso Wind Symphony is one of the more prominent all-wind instrument collectives in Texas and throughout the South. With fully-staffed flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet and saxophone sections, the group utilizes around 25 members per season, the results of which add up to a powerful, resonate sound that can only be created by such a large gathering of musicians. Unlike more traditional groups, the El Paso Wind Symphony isn't limited to strictly typical classical material. Instead, everything from movie themes to holiday programs to experimental works are fair game, making the group one of the more ambitious collectives working today.
