Buttercup is an indie rock band from San Antonio, Texas that strives to capture the sound of south Texas pop with a careful mixture of pop and southern rock. Since getting its start playing at art galleries and for impromptu street gatherings, Buttercup has since grown to become a spontaneous fixture of sorts on the San Antonio rock scene. In addition to being heralded as one of San Antonio's more creative up-and-coming indie rock acts, Buttercup is also vying to become one of the city's most prolific. With three distinct EPs released over a 10 month period, Buttercup sure knows how to keep its fans on their toes.
