Barreracudas is a glam punk band from Atlanta, Georgia that formed when its front-man, Adrian Barrera, grew tired of his previous band The Hiss and decided to create a new band with many of the same band members. Despite the dubious reasons that seem to surround the group's switch, to many fans and critics of the band's previous incarnation, Barreracudas is looking to be a refreshingly welcome change in scenery. However, for those not sure what to expect, keep in mind that Barreracudas infuses a heavy glam/trash vibe into its special brand of punk rock, which caters more to the decadent tastes of the band's audience than to some distant ideal of originality.
