Mustafa Yıldızdoğan, born on May 10, 1966 in Kadınhanı, Konya, is a distinguished Turkish folk music artist, composer, songwriter, and actor. Growing up in a farming family as one of seven children, he learned to play the bağlama on his own at the age of 16. Yıldızdoğan began his professional career in 1989 and released his debut album, Doğuyoruz Ufuklardan, in 1991. He earned notable acclaim with his 1993 album, Türkiyem, celebrated for its strong ties to Turkish folk and nationalist themes. His influential discography includes Han Duvarları (1995), Bu Vatan Kimin? (1998), and Hasat (2017). As the founder of MYD Music, Yıldızdoğan has played a key role in the advancement of Turkish folk music. He is married and the father of four children.
