Hotels & Highways is an indie folk trio from New York that actually came together when the three singer/songwriters Patrick Thomas, Syd and Lisa Piccirillo came together to write songs as a group while they were touring their own solo albums throughout the state in 2010. The trio spent over a week in a cabin by a lake in upstate New York to write the songs that would make up their debut album as Hotels & Highways, Lost Rivers. Since the album's release, music blogs have already been celebrating the trio's collaborative effort as being an interestingly haunting amalgamation of the members' unique solo styles.
