McPullish is the moniker for Austin, Texas based reggae/dub musician and producer Carter Hoovestol, who is already being celebrated by critics for coming up with an intriguingly original sound that sets his music apart from other acts that perform more commonly known modern roots reggae. Working out of his so-called "musical laboratory," Dub Cove Studio, McPullish plays on a wide-variety of musical instruments to ensure that his recordings come off sounding fresh, experimental and lively.
